We specialize in creating the technical drawings and blueprints needed for a construction project. In some cases, a drafter's and designer's role extends to managing the permit submission process, often referred to as a permit expediter/coordinator.

Studio 2436 is an entity dedicated to outstanding performance, a high level of experience, and the ability to provide strong design capabilities, attentive and effective service to its clients. We pride ourselves on communicating and listening carefully to clients' needs to bring our years of experience and talents into focus toward the final result. This way, we can provide our clients with the finest quality of service and personal attention, along with cost-effective and functional design.
Studio 2436 is the primary contact with each client and serves as the project manager. Studio 2436 is involved in all aspects of the creation of the design and all decision-making throughout the project, with the client's approval.
Present clients and design assignments are currently for small corporations, contractors, business owners, residential owners, realtors, property investors, and in the healthcare field.
The firm utilizes computer software (CAD/BIM) in the development of all phases of the design process. Construction documents and specifications are more clearly presented and understood. Utilizing elite software programs, renderings will represent quality details, including textures, finishes, and color, with integrated global illumination. Built-in state-of-the-art cameras enhance and define various viewports, as well as create isometric views and animated walkthroughs for a real-life experience.
Our conceptual design services take advantage of three-dimensional modeling to assist in the understanding of the design alternatives. Our renderings offer tailor-made furniture, architecturally finished materials, and lighting fixtures for a true feel of space and mood experience.
We are responsible for the design process while preparing, directing the coordination of structural, title 24, MEPs, and construction documents (plans) for our clients' projects. We assist with plan check submittal for permit processing to obtain all approvals and building permits by the current City or County agency. This includes any applicable corrections to the plans required by the different agencies. We conduct meetings with associates in discussion to project size, use of space(s), and probable construction cost (through a bid and negotiation process).
Our consultants; vary from geologists for soil reports, land surveyors, civil, structural to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

This is James Gillette and he is our Solar Drafter Technician.
James earned his Associate of Science Degree in Computer Drafting and Design from ITT Tech. He has 12 years of on the job experience both in the office as a technical drafter and out in the field.
He is also involved with the coordination of the plans for the Solar Dept. in regards to pulling permits, sales, fieldwork, installs, and inspections (both pre and post-install).
James is very well versed in the California Electrical Code and California Building Code as well as the submittal processes for different jurisdictions.

Solar panel design+drafting for roof mount plans which typically include a site plan, roof plan, single line diagram, electrical calculations, attachment details, and signage details, are all expertize and skills that James possesses.

Spanish Speaking Sales Rep. & Assistant
This is Leyla Morales and she is our Spanish Rep., Office Administrator, Permit Processor, and Spanish Salesperson.
She is also involved with the coordination of the plans for the Architectural Department in regard to pulling permits, sales, and fieldwork. Leyla assists in the materials selections for our interior design department, landscape, and our pool designs.
